PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

I hope this past summer brought you relaxation, sunny days and most importantly anticipation for this school year. I know that I am excited about this year and my role as your High School Principal. We have a great group of upperclassmen to show our outstanding incoming freshmen what Grizzly Pride is all about.

Having been a Grizzly student myself, I feel strongly about the students, staff and community of Hoquiam. I feel strongly about Grizzly Pride and what it means. I feel strongly about holding on to traditions, while looking to a great future for our students. I feel strongly about our students having a positive high school experience with an understanding that their high school is deeply rooted in this community. Therefore, it is important for our students to learn about tradition, coming to school with a positive attitude, and giving back to a community that gives so much to them.

So I hope you found a good book to read last summer, got your body in good physical condition for athletics because school is here! Now the real work begins. The Hoquiam Grizzlies will mark our territory in academics, extra-curricular activities, and caring for our community.
