Mr. Chávez’s 10th grade World History class transformed into an East Asia exhibit! 🌏 Students showcased their chosen country by presenting hand-made flags, explaining the meanings behind their colors and symbols, and sharing timelines of key historical events. 📜 In this exhibit-style setup, students had the chance to present multiple times to small groups, sharing how each flag reflects the country's unique identity, culture, and politics. It was a dynamic way to see how history comes to life! #WeAreHoquiamSD

Some of our high school students got to embark on a challenging but rewarding physical education class with Marine recruiters SSGT James and SGT Marquez. It was a little rainy, but a rainbow appeared to brighten the workout! 🏃‍♀️🏃🌈 #WeAreHoquiamSD

Buddy reading at its best! 📚✨ Students from Ms. Marll’s 2nd grade class and Mrs. Jones’ 4th grade class at Lincoln Elementary are teaming up twice a month to work on reading fluency, comprehension, and building a strong sense of community.
